Based in New York City, Annika’s background in classical music has prepared her for a life in opera and musical theatre through roles such as Maria von Trapp in Rodgers and Hammerstein's The Sound of Music, Eliza Doolittle in Lerner and Loewe’s My Fair Lady, Zerlina in Mozart's Don Giovanni, and more. She earned her B.A. in Theatre from Ball State University and has trained under operatic/crossover professionals Meghan Picerno, Raquel Suarez-Groen, Dr. Cynthia Dyre-Moellenhoff, Dr. Jon Truitt, and Dr. Cynthia Morrow.
